Program:
Day 1 Huaraz / Cashapampa (2,900 m) / Llamacorral (3,760 m)
Departure at 07:00 AM with our transportation to Caraz north of Huaraz visiting typical villages of the Callejón de Huaylas and then to the town of Cashapampa (3h) where the muleteer and donkeys await us to transport all the equipment and food to Llamacorral. (L, D)
Elevation: + 860 m (duration approx. 3/4 hours)
Day 2 Llamacorral / Base Camp (taullipampa) (4,250 m)
This day we continue our walk to the base camp, near the beautiful Atuncocha and Ichiccocha lagoons, appreciating some peaks around us such as Artezonraju, Taulliraju, Quitaraju. (B, L, D)
Elevation: + 490 m (duration approx. 4/5 hours)
Day 3 Base Camp / Morrena Camp (4,900 m)
We begin to ascend to the Morrena camp, the route is steep, the porters will carry all the mountain materials and food. (B, L, D)
Elevation: + 700 m (duration approx. 3/4 h)
Day 4 Moraine Camp / Camp 1 (5,400 m)
This day we will ascend on the glacier to Camp 1, the porters will help us carry the equipment. (B, L, D)
Elevation: + 500 m (duration approx. 4 hours)
Day 5 Camp 1 / Summit (6,025 m) / Base Camp
We will get up very early to ascend to the Summit and take advantage of the good snow conditions, the temperature reaches -15º C to -20º C and a cold air, with a difficulty of 65º to 70º to the summit, from the summit we can see many peaks of the Cordillera Blanca, after taking some photos we will descend with rappels following our same tracks to Camp 1 then to the base. Elevation: + 625 m (duration approx. 8/10 hours)
Day 6 Base Camp / Cashapampa / Huaraz
Return to Cashapampa with the donkeys then to Huaraz with our transport. (B, L)

What do I need to bring?
• Bring appropriate clothing for the day (hot) and for the night (cold), sunscreen, sunglasses, repellent, swimwear, personal hygiene kit, hiking boots, camera, waterproof jacket, water bottle, sleeping bag, small backpack, headlamp (flashlight)
• Luggage (5 kilos per person) for the donkey
