Program:
Day 1 Huaraz (3,100 m) / Pashpa / Base Camp (4,350 m)
Departure by private minibus, heading north of the city of Huaraz towards Cochapampa Pashpa (40 min approx.) altitude of 3,600 m then we will walk to the Ishinca base camp at 4,350 m, luggage and food will be transported on donkeys, this day we will appreciate a very impressive panorama of the white and black mountain range. Elevation: + 750 m (duration approx. 4/5 hours)
Day 2 Base Camp / Morena Camp (4,950 m)
We will begin our ascent to the moraine camp, along a very marked path with milestones and rocks from the melting ice and reach the glacier. (B, L, D)
Elevation: + 650 m (duration approx. 4 hours)
Day 3 Moraine Camp / Tocllaraju Summit (6,034 m) / Base Camp
We get up very early in the morning, after a hot tea we will begin to walk on the glacier avoiding crevasses, small ice walls and reaching the north ridge that will take us to the summit, after some photos we will return to the moraine camp. (B, L, D)
Elevation: + 1,084 m / – 1,084 m (duration approx. 7/8 hours to go up and down)
Day 4 Base Camp / Pashpa / Huaraz
On this day we will return to the town of Pashpa, where the minivan will be waiting for us to take us to Huaraz. (B, L)
Elevation: – 750 m (duration approx. 4 hours)
