Program:
Day 1 Arequipa (2,325 m) / Monte Blanco (4,800 m)
Pick up from the hotel at 9:00 am, we leave towards Aguada Blanca and pass through cabrerías until we reach with our 4×4 at an altitude of 4150 m. We will be able to observe the South American camelids (vicuñas) in the Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve, sometimes we can see the condor, Camp in Monte Blanco, this day we walk 3 hours. (L, D)
Day 2 Monte Blanco / Summit (5,825 m) / Arequipa
Very early after breakfast, we will begin to ascend to the summit of the Misti volcano (5,825 m) for approximately 4 hours. We will see the sunrise and an impressive view of the Andes mountain range and especially the Ring of Fire (a group of aligned volcanoes in southern Peru).
The descent is easier and more fun, we will go down the volcanic ash to our 4×4 truck and then return to Arequipa (B, L)
