Itinerary:
Day 1 Huaraz / Huánucopampa
Transfer from Huaraz to Huánuco Pampa (3,736 m) (6-hour transfer). In the afternoon, visit the Inca ruins of Huánuco Viejo.

Day 2 Huánucopampa / Queropalca / Carhuacocha
Transfer from Huánuco Viejo to the town of Queropalca (3,800 m) (3-hour transfer). Then, we will continue an easy trek to Laguna Carhuacocha (4,150 m) (3-hour hike).
Day 3 Carhuacocha / Mitucocha
We will ascend to cross the first pass, Carhuac (4,650 m) and camp at Laguna Mitucocha (4,150 m) (5-hour hike).

Day 4 Mitucocha / Rondoy
We will ascend to Cacanan Punta Pass (4,700 m) and descend to Rondoy Camp (4,350 m) (5-hour hike).

Day 5 Rondoy / Jahuacocha
On a challenging day, we will cross the highest pass of this trek, Sambunya (4,750 m). We will descend near Solterococha Lagoon and then to the beautiful Jahuacocha Lagoon, where we will camp (4,100 m) (5-hour hike).

Day 6 Jahucocha / Llamac / Huaraz
On the last day of the trek, we will cross the Pampa Llamac Pass (4,300 m) and descend to the village of Llamac, home to the muleteers who have accompanied us throughout the trek (4-hour hike). Return to Huaraz (4-hour transportation)
