Program:
Day 1 Arrival in Lima Peru / Pick up from the Airport / Transfer Hotel
Departure from country of origin at 00:00 PM to Lima Peru arrival at 00:00 PM, Pick up from the Airport and transfer to the Hotel in Miraflores.
Day 2 Flight Lima / Cusco / City Tours Cusco (3,400 m)
In the afternoon we will leave at 02 p.m. We will visit the temple of the sun (Korikancha), the Cathedral within the city and the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay outside the city. Return to Cusco. (B)
Day 3 Sacred Valley Tours
This day we will tour the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit Corao (craft fair) Taray (viewpoint) the town of Pisac where we will stop to visit the popular and craft fair, then we will visit the archaeological group of Pisac. Later, arriving at Urubamba or Calca we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the archaeological group of Ollantaytambo and then return to the city of Cusco, visiting Chinchero. (B)
Day 4 Cusco / Cachora / Chikisca
At 4:00 a.m. Pick up from the hotel, then we will travel to Cachora (4 hours approx., in our private minibus), once in Cachora, we will meet with our muleteer and horses, who will transport our equipment and food, at the beginning, the trail is flat until we reach Capuliyoc where we will see the immense Apurimac Canyon and then we will descend to Chikisca, which is 3 hours approx. Once in the Apurimac Canyon. We will feel the change in temperature that emerges from the canyon this day we will have the camp almost on the banks of the Apurimac River considered as the source of the Amazon. (B, L, D)
Day 5 Chikisca / Rosalina Beach / Choquequirao
Early morning breakfast, then we will begin to descend about 30 minutes towards Rosalina Beach where we will find a very pleasant and pleasant climate to after this begin the hike up the mountain, along a long and narrow path, arriving at Choquequirao at 4 p.m. approx., then, we will visit the archaeological site with our guide. The view of the canyon is spectacular, it will also be possible to see some condors flying over the mountains, Camp (3,370 masl. 11,055 feet). (B, L, D)
Day 6 Choquequirao / Maizal
This day we will begin by climbing up to 3,300 masl. 10,890 feet, then we will descend to Rio Blanco (1,900 masl. 6,270 feet), on the way we will pass by the archaeological site of Pinchiunuyoj. There we will observe different species of birds, orchids and local coca plantations (2,750 masl. 9,075 feet), of Rio Blanco, where we will have lunch, we will begin to climb to Maizal (3,000 masl 9,900 feet) for approximately 3 hours, Camp. Day 7 Maizal / Yanama
This morning, we will start hiking up the mountain again, passing by some impressive Inca mines called Minas Victoria. Almost at the top, we will find a beautiful Inca stone road (made by the Incas). We will pass over 4,150 masl (13,695 ft.), finally we will descend to the camp in Yanama high Andean community (3,800 masl (12,540 ft.). (B, L, D)
Day 8 Yanama / Totora
After an early breakfast, we will start the hike slowly up to the highest pass in our entire tour (4,670 masl (15,410 ft.), again we will have a very spectacular view, we will be surrounded by the snow-capped mountains of Sacsarayoj and Padreyoj. After a brief stop in the mountains we will begin our descent to the Totora Valley where we will have the Camp at 3,630 masl. 11,979 Feet. Near the community of Totora. (B, L, D)
Day 9 Totora / Playa or Santa Teresa
This day after breakfast we will feel a very pleasant climate and we will continue the descent towards the Santa Teresa River which comes from the Salkantay snowy mountain and then continue through the narrow valley that will take us to the beach where we can take the transport that will take us to Santa Teresa where we can enjoy the Hot Springs 7,012 Feet. Day 10 Santa Teresa / Aguas Calientes
This morning, we will walk for 3 hours, until the last pass up to 2,810 masl. 9,273 Feet, from there, we will have a spectacular view of the lost city of the Incas Machu Picchu. After a break to relax, we will go down to the hydroelectric plant on the Urubamba River, from there, depending on the time, we will walk / take the train to Aguas Calientes, Accommodation and overnight in a hostel. If we leave from Santa Teresa to head through the narrow valley of the Urubamba River to reach the Hydroelectric Plant, where after lunch we will start along the train tracks until we reach Aguas Calientes where we will have a beautiful Hostel

Day 11 Visit to the Citadel of Machu Picchu / Return to Cusco
After breakfast, we will take the bus to Machu Picchu, there, we will have a guided tour of the entire archaeological site, then, we will have free time in Machu Picchu, if we wish, we can climb Wayna Picchu. In the afternoon (4:00 p.m.), we will take the return train Aguas Calientes / Ollantaytambo and then bus to Cusco, arriving in Cusco at 8 p.m. Approx. Hotel (B)
Day 12 Flight Cusco / Lima
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport flight Cusco to Lima (B)
